Pages & OCR
Organizing pages
Reorder, select, rotate, duplicate, and delete pages in the workspace.
Reordering pages
Drag a thumbnail to a new position — in the bottom strip on iPhone or the sidebar on iPad. For double-sided scans from two passes, don’t reorder by hand: Fake Duplex does it in one step.
Selecting multiple pages
Most actions — rotate, delete, crop, OCR, export — work on a selection, not just the current page:
Long-press any thumbnail (or choose Select Multiple Pages) to enter selection mode.
Tap thumbnails to add or remove pages; Select All grabs the whole document.
Apply an action from the toolbar or menus — it runs on all selected pages.
Tap the main page view or Done to leave selection mode.
You can also save only the selected pages — see Saving and exporting.
Editing actions
- Rotate Left / Rotate Right
- Rotates the current page or selection in 90° steps. Scans with Orientation set to Automatic usually arrive upright already.
- Cut / Copy / Paste
- Moves or duplicates pages through the page clipboard — including between positions in the same document. Paste inserts after the current page.
- Duplicate
- Duplicates the current page or selection in place.
- Delete Page
- Removes the current page or selection. Quicker: swipe a thumbnail, Mail-style.
Undo and going back
The most recent action can be undone. Two safety nets exist beyond undo:
- Revert to Scanned Original restores pages to the untouched scanner output — it undoes any processing (crop, color conversion, deskew) no matter how long ago it happened. See Cleaning up pages.
- Open Previous brings back your last session after a restart. See The scan workspace.
